ABAI Terms of Service
Please make sure that you read the following policies carefully before continuing.
Membership Cancellation Policy
Overpayments and discounts not taken by the applicant will be considered donations to ABAI unless a request for the
refund is received by the ABAI office in writing. Requests for membership cancellations will not be granted.
Membership with ABAI is based on the calendar year (January through December).
Publication Cancellation Policy
All orders for ABAI publications are final, returns and exchanges will not be accepted.
ABAI does not provide refunds for journal, DVD, audiotape or VHS orders.
Event Registration Transfer and Cancellation Policies
Refund requests received after deadlines, except for those made as a result of a death in the immediate family,
will not be granted. Cancellation requests should be submitted to ABAI in writing.
Registration transfers (attendee replacements) and cancellations for the 2012 Autism Conference in Philadelphia,
PA received by midnight (EST) January 9, 2012 will be processed in the ABAI office prior to the conference.
Cancellations made after this date will not be refunded. Transfer requests made after January 9 will be processed
on site at the Registration Desk. There will be a $60 processing fee for transfers and cancellations.
Registration transfers (attendee replacements) and cancellations for the 2012 Annual Convention in Seattle, WA
received by midnight (EDT) April 27, 2012 will be processed in the ABAI office prior to the convention. Cancellations
made after this date will not be refunded. Transfer requests made after April 27 will be processed on site at the
Registration Desk. There will be a $50 processing fee for transfers and cancellations.
Registration transfers (attendee replacements) and cancellations for the 2012 Behavior Change for a Sustainable
World Conference in Columbus, OH received by midnight (EST) July 16, 2012 will be processed in the ABAI office prior
to the convention. Cancellations made after this date will not be refunded. Transfer requests made after July 16
will be processed on site at the Registration Desk. There will be a $60 processing fee for transfers and cancellations.
Photo Release Policy
By clicking “Checkout” I also acknowledge that while presenting/attending the ABAI Convention, I may be photographed by an
ABAI-approved photographer. By submitting my abstract for consideration, I am granting the Association for Behavior Analysis
International permission to use my likeness in photograph(s) in any and all of its publications and in any and all other media,
whether now known or hereafter existing, controlled by the Association for Behavior Analysis International, in perpetuity, and for
other use by the Association. I will make no monetary or other claim against the Association for Behavior Analysis International
for the use of the photograph(s).
